Overview
Cycling with Zebras and warthogs is thrilling and fun. This combined with warrior training with the Maasai and walking with giraffes and gazelles and a finish with a game drive in the world’s famous Maasai Mara National Reserve is a complete and rich family holiday. This tour is accustomed to families with children as young as 7years old. Short vehicle distances, comfort and adventure will ensure satisfaction to the whole family!
OVERVIEW
Start gently with a refreshing boat ride in the famous Lake Naivasha in the Rift valley where you can view fresh water birds, hippopotamus and wild game on the island, move to Oloisukut where you walk alongside zebras, giraffes and antelopes, then on to a game drive that immerses you into wild game including but not limited to Elephants, Giraffes, buffaloes, lions, cheetah, leopard, antelopes… then finish with a culture and dance with the Maasai at Maji moto.

Arrive early in the morning and drive into the Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha, arriving for lunch. Boat ride on the lake, where you get a chance to view several fresh water birds and families of hippopotamuses, then you are dropped off to the Crescent Island for a relaxing walk of tranquility with zebras, giraffes, waterbucks, wildebeests impalas etc. often interrupted with Fish eagles’ cry and other birds

Leave after breakfast for a biking safari with zebras, warthogs, giraffes, buffaloes antelopes and breathtaking scenery at Hell’s Gate National park. Later, descend into the gorge for amazing scenery. Come back to the hotel for lunch and rest.

Leave after Breakfast and drive to Oloisukut Conservancy, arriving in the afternoon. Lunch enroute. Evening walk. Home stay at our guide’s home in the heart of the conservancy.

After breakfast, leave for a safari walk in this wonderful Conservancy spotting zebras, antelopes, giraffes curiously studying us. We come back for lunch, then afternoon rest, or horse ride or continue with the safari walk to reach the Mara river for a chance to spot the hippopotamuses and crocodiles.

Leave after Breakfast and drive to Maaasai Mara National park, enroute game drive, arriving for lunch. Afternoon game drive which exposes you to great wild game including but not limited to Elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopard, cheetah, lots of antelopes, and rich birdlife.

Maasai Mara, one of the most famous National reserve in the world sits on 1510 Square kilometers of savannah grasslands, dotted with acacia trees and bushes, intersected by several rivers with riverine forests, surrounded with hills and escarpments giving its visitors a world of vast beautiful sceneries in which freely roams Elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, giraffes and the big cats including the elusive Leopard, not forgetting its rich birdlife. It is home to the “Big Five”. Navigating these wild ecosystems, spotting wild game is truly a magical experience. This rich Reserve borders with the Serengeti National park in Tanzania and is host to the annual migration of the wildebeests, whereby each year between mid-July and mid-October, an estimated 2million wildebeests and zebras cross the Mara river is a dangerous stampede escaping the ferocious crocodiles that crowd this river. This spectacle has earned Maasai Mara the status of the 7th Wonder of the Modern World. It is proven that this is the park that hosts the most lions in the world.

Leave early with and drive to Maji Moto. Arrive in time for some cultural activities like warrior training, village visits, beading, fire making and dance. In the evening, enjoy stories from our maasai warriors around the fire.

Maji Moto - Nairobi
Morning walk and a visit to the hot springs. Lunch at the camp then leave for Nairobi.
